Ebenezer . . .

It is a little hard to make out on this size image, but just over the door the writing says : Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Until I saw this church I had never heard of that particular denomination, and had never seen the name "Ebenezer" anywhere other than in Charles Dickens' story A Christmas Carol, where Ebenezer Scrooge personified miserliness and greed. . . something incongruous in that congregation of names. . .
