Carantec . . .

Carantec, Brittany, may be one of France's best kept Summer vacation secrets. The north Brittany coast in that area near Morlaix is out of this world for scenery, the seafood is abundant, and there are no end of photo opportunities out that way for anyone willing to delve around a little bit. And it is not only lovely in the Summer. . . we head out there in the Fall, Winter, and Spring also, and after 16 years of regular trips to Carantec, am far from getting tired of it yet, on the contrary, it grows on one. The seacoast is resplendent in views like this one of the Ile Louet.
.
PS I just figured out today how to make this blog page wider, and thus allow posting larger versions of photos... I would like to thank Loulou out in India for showing me the way on how to do that. (see Indiaphragme link at right side of this page for some of the most beautiful images form India that I've ever seen)
