Canary Beetle . . .

Why someone felt compelled to hoist this old VW Beetle up on top of a shipping container parked in the pumice fields and cold lava flow covered with cactus in that corner of the Canary Island of Tenerife was but one of many mysteries encountered on those mysterious and beautiful islands. And it had a see-through interior . . .

hello :)
okay so i was just browsing through some creative blogs and found yours. I'm not a creeper! haha!
i just really like the lighting and angles of your photography. It's really neat. I'm just beginning to get involved in photography and am trying to get exposed to as much diversity as i can.

Hey, thanks for dropping by, glad to hear your not a creepy creeper... never know who's out there on the internet... and thanks for your kind words... photography is a magical process. If you're just getting started, have you looked at work by folks like Ansel Adams, Eliot Porter, Elliot Erwitt, or Garry Winogrand? Those are four that I love for starters. . . looking at other people's work is a great way to get inspiration.
