Strange News From Other Planets . . .

To illustrate the sort of surprises one may have on any given day in this life, I just received this joyful message by e-mail from a slightly demented reader named Bubby Bobzilla somewhere in Pennsylvania. . . and it was accompanied by a photo that he took :

I found a new friend! Just like our old friend, sans the spike through the head. A fresh start of what could be a beautiful relationship.I'm sure she will want to come for a visit. I know she's curious about France and has heard many stories of the Marquis de Sade.I know she just can't wait to meet you! There's so much work to do… Bubby

PS . . I would like to thank an alert reader, Catherine in Mexico City, who commented just after this was published about a site in Mexico City where there are many old dolls in a surreal setting. . . There is a video on You Tube of the site she mentionned.

I've seen a few odd things in my travels on this planet, but few stranger than this pair of legs emerging from the ground in a graveyard ! Not sure I want to know what was going on there. If you have any theories, well, feel free to expound on them in a comment here . . .

Hello To Bobzilla From An Old Friend ! ! !

After all these years I imagine you thought it was totally safe to forget forever our old mutual friend pictured here. . . aaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhh . . . SHE'S BACK ! ! ! This is where she was originally found that day long ago out in the Park near that abandoned house. Not only do old cars that no one wants to drive any more get left out in the woods to decompose, but so do old baby dolls. This was of course well before all those nails got driven into her head to give her a spiky punk hairdo. I wonder where on Earth she could be today ? ? ? I know you are just ecstatic to see her again anyway, I'll bet in some secret odd way you've missed her alot. . .
