French Facades . . .

You may well come to the conclusion that the author of this blog is certifiably non compos mentis, an expression for which Wikipedia tells me : "Although used in law, this term can be used metaphorically or figuratively. This entails when one is a confused state or state lacking rational thinking. In English law, the rule of non compos mentis was most commonly used when the defendant invoked religious or magical explanations for behaviour."

Well I'll be darned, doesn't all behavior have truly magical explanations ? ? ?

Anyway, I'm in love with facades, as in the front of houses or other buildings, when they display serious signs of the passages of time. And I would love to see the interiors of some of these places. These two were found near Lyon, France, just a few days back.
