Wisdom Tooth : Dent de Sagesse

As previously mentioned below in the "Tanned Car" posting, Bertrand Chenu, the curator of the Museum of the Absurd (Musée de l'Insolite) near Cahors, France, is a creative genius. No ifs, ands, or buts ; when it comes to sheer raw force of originality, if there was a Richter scale for artwork as there is for earthquakes, Bertrand Chenu would weigh in regularly at 9.4 to 9.8 . . . artistic quakes that would level whole cities, indeed whole galaxies of limited vision and sweep away vast seas of boredom. Visiting his Museum of the Absurd while in the region around Cahors is to offer oneself a marvelous afternoon climbing out of your old carapace like a cicada molting, and re-discovering that the human mind is capable of far, far more than what 99/100ths of normal life requires of it... This image is from a booklet I picked up on my last visit there, I sincerely hope it is not objectionable to post this image here, given that it is done with the express purpose of encouraging you to pack your bags, get on a plane, a train, or a donkey, and make your way to Cahors, France, and from there track down the Museum of the Absurd, le Musée de l'Insolite... and say Hi to Bertrand for me...
