The worse the economy gets, the more I keep thinking about heading for the hills and becoming a total recluse. . . setting up shop in a dream house fixer-upper that looks like this photograph. Don't need much ; a mattress, a cup, a plate, a fork, spoon, knife, a table and a chair, a few books. Oh, right, almost forgot, a PC with a high speed internet connection in order to keep the blog working. . .

And a close up so you get a better idea of just how much fixing up a place like this may need. . . but if you all come to pitch in and lend a hand, bringing your hammers and nails and ladders and whatnot, the way they do in Amish communities in Pennsylvania and Ohio, I'll bet we could get this place looking ship-shape in no time. . .

Hi Owen, as soon as you have found your house,give me a call and I will come along with my hammers, screwdrivers, nails and electric utenslils...(the house has some electricty???...)
Electricity ? That's alot to ask for ! Maybe we can rig up a generator ? Don't forget the kegs of beer too ! I'll let you know as soon as I find out where it is... I think I dream these photos.
