Havasupai !

On that same trip to the US in April 2008, with two friends we hiked down into the Havasupai Indian Reservation near the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Havasupai is one of the most beautiful places on the face of this Earth. I first went there in 1982, returning there all these years later was like travelling in time. Edward Abbey wrote about Havasupai in his timeless book "Desert Solitaire", which is well worth reading, if you haven't already. This photo shows a sign at the entrance to the Havasupai Indian Reservation cemetery. . . not a bad place to spend eternity. . .
