Stolen Face. . .

In the small village of Couzon au Mont d'Or, France. . . Couzon at the Golden Mountain, which I visited just a couple of short weeks ago while on vacation in Lyon, we stopped and marveled awhile at the lovely ancient church there, built from richly colored sandstone, and adorned with an assortment of stunning sculptures, showing signs of age, some more than others. I particularly liked the angel with no face ; which brought to mind of course the Grateful Dead song He's Gone , with the line in it : "Like I told you, what I said, steal your face, right off of your head.
