As mentionned below, the circus was in town today, replete with a sorts of colorful characters, like this plaster (or is "plastered" more likely) parrot. . .
.
And there were flying blue elephants that made my head spin. . .
.
And for a minute there I thought I was even seeing the dreaded pink elephant. . . am going to have to stop drinking so much in the afternoon, it is obviously doing me no good at all. . .

Pink and blue elephants which seem to have been annoying in one way or another. The quality seems good--better made than what is being made here now. Did they have pommes frites?
I would start drinking if I were you, just a little, just to calm down:)
Have colorful Sunday!
The parrot looks very surprised and as for the elephant... vaguely religious...?
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I sure hope you'll take another spin on the ferris wheel at Color Carnival this week! :-)
Thanks for the comment! Personally, I think the parrot looks decidely shifty, up to no good for sure.
Thank God I had my my circus shoes on for strolling through today's blog! /I was surprised to see that Donald Duck & Piglet have run away to join Dumbo at this circus. I wonder if Disney knows about it...could be a breach of contract./ Did you happen to drink any Kool-Aid while at the fair?...the colours seem a bit...electric ;)
I want that parrot!
GG
Ha ha, I haven't seen the pink elephants in decades thank goodness! I love those colourful photos Owen!
On a separate note: we were discussing that IE problem, operation aborted, can't show certain web pages? It happened with yours today, so I opened it with Firefox and Firefox told me that to view your page, I needed to add on Adobe Flash Player. So I installed that through IE and Firefox, now I can view your page without the error message. Anyway, just wanted to pass that on, and I hope that will solve the problem!
I always wanted to ride in Dumbo.
I think drinking and pink elephants go hand in hand. I love all the bright colors. :D
I love Dumbo and I want to go to the circus to know...
...pink and blue, both!
:-)
I'm a fan of Porcinet... and I think... Why his color is blue ?
Ciao Tigrou !
Owen, I have looked at the parrot and the word 'mescaline' comes to mind!
I opened a googlemail account and have sent you an email to see if you get it? If not, try btinternet once more and if not, I will give you another email.
Laurie
As if I can hear the sond matching by those wonderful photos,it is like in a scary move or something like that,if you will alow me to say that.Great! Greetings
Ment sound,and alouw,scusa me!
Aleksandra, welcome, and yes, the music was very loud at this circus... the pink elephant was tapping his feet in time up there...
Laurie, funny, I was thinking about the same thing... must be the worm at the bottom of the tequila bottle...
Jeff, what is the complementary color of a blue elephant ? Only the tisane knows...
amatamari... the circus is still in town, I'll be happy to invite you ! LOL
Amy, let me know if you see any elephants on the beach in PR after cocktails, pink or otherwise... hope you have a great trip !
Amanda F. ; a dream fulfilled, to trumpet to the world about ?! LOL
Rain, probably a good thing to have not seen any recently. Thanks for the tip about Flash Player, am trying that...
GG, how much are you willing to pay ? Every parrot has its price !
:-D
Lynne,
I think there are serious grounds for breach of contract concerns here... those dastardly cartoon characters can get up to no good if not well managed. And yes, I was wondering why the kool aid had a bit of a glow to it...
J ... I think you are right, the parrot was shifty, the whole darned circus was shifty... more to come on that...
Martha, hi, will do my best to get to the color carnaval soon... was tagged twice this week and one award still not dealt with properly, but all in good time ! Thanks for reminding me... after going to the Andy Warhol color carnaval exhibition in Paris, I knew there was something I needed to do...
Steve, that was no ordinary elephant, that was the Grand Mofti of the Pachyderm Lodge of the Western Occidental Movement of Maconic Elephants... more than just religious, a leader of the elephant species...
Joo, thanks ! you are welcome to come over for a drink anytime, I'll put the chablis in the fridge ! LOL ! It's only a ten hour drive, right ?
Hi Margaret, may the circus descend upon New Jersey... there were indeed pommes frites and barbe à papa and countless calories of colorful candy, enough sugar there to give King Kong cavities...
Thanks to all of you good people for coming to the circus... and don't go away, there's more, and the coffee is hot... or tea, or (no Jeff, no Steve, don't even think it) or orange juice or beer or chilled white wine...
I just love the pink & blue elephants! Thanks for telling me about your blog, I'm looking forward to looking through it, you have a lot of great photos and commentary here.
