Strolling in Pere Lachaise Cemetery the other day with Virginia, Mary, Peter, and la Grenouille, saw this reflection on polished black stone, and thought, of course, of Weekend Reflections.
.
Sorry to be so absent here, but have been spending more time over a the Facebook page, link in sidebar. Hope everyone had a happy Valentine's Day...

Eerie to see the sky that way from a grave. It's clear while being filmy, a veil between life and death. Life has made me more sensitive to death.
Like ? Where's the darn "Like" button here ??? And why when I type O:) it doesn't turn into a halo head smiley ???
Ah, the sky on cold smooth stone, like a movie screen, does the screen retain the messages of the films it shows ? So much light bouncing around in all directions, but does light remember any of the stories it carries to our eyes ?
a really polished perfect reflection...
Wow, so shiny and striking! I shall stroll over to your sidebar. :)
You can put your own "like" on each post. Edit layout, posts. At the bottom is reactions you can add "like" so people can check it. Almost like a like button.
You can also add the share buttons for Facebook etc.
;)
oops I just noticed your share button. Missed it before. Mine is at the end of each post.
Life, death and the firmament reflected in the grave itself... very apt.
No sparing the elbow grease.
I was wondering; have you something special planned for next year?
Superbe.
Thanks all...
Marginalia... something special next year ??? You've got me there... or you know something I don't ?
Now that reflection is amazing!
Magnifique !
