When I saw on Friday that James had gone back to Florence for his Weekend Reflections, for a stroll along the Arno, I had but little choice to send another echo flying back. James, I'm sure you will know exactly where each of these was taken from. But no two photos are ever exactly alike, so hoping you, and everyone else out there may enjoy another take on reflections on the Arno in that timeless city of Florence, where one can be tempted to stroll along the river until late into the evening when the sky goes to midnight blue.

Dio mio! My eyes and heart ache from the beauty of these pictures.
Superbe, cher Owen, tout simplement superbe. I must really visit Florence one of these days... Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Your photos are just beautiful! Yes I can visualize where you took each one of them. I also noticed that the two buildings on the left side in your top photo are also in my Weekend Reflections photo.
I doubt I'll ever have the pleasure of going on a photo walk with you in Florence but this is the next best thing. Well, at least until I go to Paris again. :)
Oh yes, Owen. Just bottle up those colors and bring them home! Florence is a favorite of mine, and your photos remind me why.
Of course, the food and wine contribute to the picture as well!
Fabulous!

Beautiful photos - know that area well. Brings back some wonderful memories.
Les photos de nuit sont celles que je préfère.
Beautiful reflections and photos Owen! One of these days...
Ah, you few and faithful friends of the Magic Lantern, your visits and kind words here are appreciated.
Be well...
Gondolas in Florence?!!
On croit toujours que les gondoles sont vénitiennes... Sympa en tous les cas cette private joke entre James et toi : c'est l'occasion pour nous d'admirer de magnifique reflets !
