A small contribution to Weekend Reflections, which has just moved to a new address... Am on vacation again for the next three weeks, so may be a little absent, but may also be hovering around the blogosphere from time to time, as I can't live without you all for very long.

Amazing photos - especially the colour palette. It speaks of warmth and of coolness both together.
How still the night...
Brilliant! This a wonderful shot Owen! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for sharing this!
Enjoy your vacation!
That is the prettiest darn Poissonnerie that I ever did see!
It's as if the scales have fallen from my eyes and I am beholding shimmering golden fish swimming in a glowing magic sauce full of bewitchments and intoxicating flavours. Please, sir, may I have some more? And what will we all be drinking with this sumptuous visual repast tonight?
Lovely night shot - barely a ripple on the pond to disturb that beautiful golden reflection.
So beautiful and peaceful, great shot:)
what a cool shot - love the gold reflection - am back online in London - move to South of France in 2 weeks...hope I am inspired to keep on blogging..
Beautiful... as always.
Steve, I guess it's a case of opposites which attract... warm vs. cool, light vs. blackness... good & evil ? Clarity vs. mystery...
Hi ER ! I'm thinking that must be a quote from something... will have to search a bit for it ? Unless that's just you thinking out loud in poetry ? Hope you're having a fine summer on the west coast, and that hubby is staying out of traffic court...
Hi James, it's been a little while since I managed to get a reflection together, but now have a few up my sleeve to deal out as Friday's come around... I think Weekend Reflections is one really great meme, the only other I like as much is World Bird Wednesday... so keep up the great hosting job ! Any travel plans on the horizon now that the move back out west is done ?
Dear Lynne, I see you are covered in fragrant sauce again, you've been in the kitchen... To be honest, I think about the finest wine to accompany fish dishes I've found to date come from Meursault, in the Burgundy region... a good meursault is worth its weight in gold, they haven't failed me yet... And if I told you how many fish were swimming in this pool, you might not believe me, so I'll just have to post a daylight photo full of fish, big fish, to give you an idea. They breed trout in pools just upstream from here, then let some out... they jump right out of the water and onto your dinner plate almost ! Lovely with some melted butter and herbs... mmmmmyyaaammmmm !
Pat, Gine, Henrietta, great big THANK YOU for stopping by, this place was as peaceful as they come... water like a mirror...
Myth... will do !
Ah Catherine, there you are... so the epic voyage and move across oceans and continents is still in progress... I was wondering where you were. Best of luck with this last leg of the trip, hope all is going well and that you've found a good place to live when you get there...
@eloh !
Well bless my soul... ! Where have you been hiding ??? Wonderful to see you pop in here, hope to hear more from your corner of the world soon...
Nice reflection.. I really like it!
Bonnes vacances, Owen! We will all be here when you return.-- Veronique aka French Girl in Seattle
I feel as if I've entered into someone else's dream!
Have a wonderful vacation...
Hello Elisa... thanks... I'm happy if this is pleasing to you. Reflections are sort of an alternate universe, matter, anti-matter, one house going up toward the sky, and then its equal and opposite self going down into the depths of the mysterious lake...
Hi Stickup... was it Dylan who once said something to the effect of : "I'll let you be in my dream if I can be in yours" ? :-)
love the lighting in this shot.
Very nice cadre and light and your photography, too.
Regards!
YOU HAVE SOME LOVELY PHOTOGRAPHS ON YOUR BLOG...
QUITE LOVELY
sorry for shouting
bonnes vacances owen — and love the syrupy warm reflected light in this magical shot..
on holiday! again!!!
ahhh how i envy you, sigh sigh...
(last but not least, for these wonderful golden reflections of your nights)
:-)
Wow, is that your holiday home? Turner couldn't have done better.
