It is never a question of if, only a matter of when. I am also thinking of our friend in NZ and anxiously awaiting for her to post that she and her family are safe as I know you are too.
Well, being a dead head, I must show some solidarity here, so I just posted 'Ripple' on my site. Thanks, Owen. And peace to you and all you other brothers and sisters too!
I've been watching the news coming from New Zealand and it's truly saddening. When natural disasters strike, they are truly devastating, both physically and psychologically. I wish the people of New Zealand peace and comfort soon... hopefully.
Two books of Owen's Photos are now available and can be seen in their entirety by clicking on the links that are in this post about them. Enjoy ! If you would like to order one, please drop me an e-mail to owenmart333 at gmail dot com

Why ? Answer : Why not ? Originally from a foreign country, now French and living in France for the past 20 years. Am still adapting to culture shock. Frequently go out scouring the countryside, camera in hand, looking for my dream house, for my dreamtime, for my dreams.

Nice tribute!
I've been in a few bigger earthquakes but I don't think they were as destructive as this one in NZ. Very sad indeed.
Just the right post Owen, - unfortunately - at the right moment! Thanks to you, thanks to Jerry Garcia and friends...
Sad and beautiful on so many levels.
May time and life make all possible good again. Please.
