Summertime's Coming . . .

Spotted this joyous and colorful sight in a Paris shop window a few days back ; and for some reason I was hearing a female voice saying something like : "Oh my god, am I going to be able to get back into it this year?" And just noticed this very second, there's your's truly at the bottom center . . . I kind of like the orange one myself . . .

Yep, the orange one is the best.
But please don't scare me : you're weren't thinking of wearing it yourself, were you? ;-)

Hi Owen! Love the beach wear and that sneaky little glimpse of you! Well, Tiddels and I have been really busy and consequently, have not had much time to bloggity blog. BUT, we are OK, and have not fallen down any deep holes, or been kidnapped by shifty looking rabbits! Thanks you so much for our chicken award! Lots of love xxx

Nah, they're all fun stoppers I reckon. They would all look great drapped over a bit of furniture or the pool boy.....

Enjoying your blog Owen. Love the photos every time I visit, so keep snapping!! The kinis are wonderful. Your shop front photos would have the photorealistic painters really reaching for their paintbrushes!!
All the best

Owen you certainly don't shy away from the struggles of contemporary life ie. the struggle to fit into ever shrinking attire. Thanks for the tag (I think) I'll get right on it after a stint on the treadmill.

I have the orange one, but in green!! You know what I mean..Everyone should wear a bikini!

Not with you wearing it though I hope (heehee. There's nothing like a bit of Paris fashion is there?

LOL, great post Owen! No bikini for me this summer, I'm in the wrong era. I like those old bathing suits with the skirts on them, and the big flowery rubber bathing caps, ha ha!

Colourful collection in that window!

I guess that is you, reflected below the psychedelic white/pink/green bikini top taking the photo?

As tempting as these might be, nothing can ever replace the itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot one.

Oh Louciau, you make me laugh, that was a song from my childhood...too funny!

Hello Owen, surprisingly you didn't get back to your wonderful readers yet. Hope there is no other damage in the basement of your house...
**** would have been among us, looking at such picture, would have said LIB, definitely!
Take care

Well, look at you -- ogling the bikinis -- *heh*

I like the orange one too. Wouldn't that look great on someone with a good tan.

"She wore an itsy, bitsy, teeny weeny ..."

Dearest Loulou, I was just waiting for you to come back a second time before starting to answer ! LOL ! Ah, you see, I have this terrible, debillitating, degenerative, wasting away condition in my life right now...... it's called : MY JOB. Like it or not I have to go to work too many days a month, and it keeps me away from my true calling in life, my bliss, my joy, which is taking pictures and then corresponding with all you WONDERFUL, CREATIVE, JOYOUS people who keep dropping in here... but listen Loulou, I promise I'll try to be faster next time... but when I get into blogland, I'm like a kid in a candy shop, there are just so many fascinating things going on all over blogtown, I hardly know where to rest my eyes... so please be patient with me, I'm running as fast as my little legs will carry me...

Louciao and Rain... well, they're not polka dots, but some are pretty itsy bitsy teeny weeny ! What a riot that song was, thank you for helping us dredge our memories for many wonderful but long forgotten bits of happiness !

Nathalie & Watercats & Jessie... how did you guess ?!? No, just kidding, not thinking of trying any of these on, no, was thinking of how they might look on, well, I dunno, Julia Roberts maybe ? Paris is certainly the fashion spot !

Jenny, yep, self portrait through the bikini strings...

Clo, you bet, can't wait ! (see above about JOB... that's the best part about France, is Vacation !!!

GG, that's a hell of a bargain !

Rain again, can't wait to see a photo of you at the beach on PEI then in your bathing cap and beach skirt !

Lyn, I hope there are enough to go around for everyone !

Bill, after the treadmill struggle, guess you're ready for the beach now !

April, can't wait to see a painting of this...

David, I know you were just here for the building reflection, that was the whole intention of this photo, I don't know why folks are getting so distracted by those pesky bikinis that got in the way of the reflection !!! LOL !

Dear Sagit, you have a wicked mind ! Fun stoppers ??? Wow, at least they don't come with iron bands and padlocks !

Buskitten, well I guess Tiddles is a male tiger right? So I suppose the orange bikini here is not for Tiddles ? Maybe he can find some bright orange trunks for the trip to the beach on your map... great to see you !

Uwe ; sounds fine, lunch break at the pool... lucky U.

Joo, very "sheer" magic indeed ;-D

Steve, DEFINITELY ! The leopard pattern is SO you ! LOL :-)))

That Chicken, I hope the body snatchers (zombie chickens maybe) who took your body will bring it back fast... or maybe you could talk to Bill here about borrowing his treadmill ???

Lille Diane ! Thank you so much !!! Will be over shortly to take a look, wow, am floored... am a little worried though, if the whole world starts dropping in here, I'm going to have trouble answering 7 billion comments per day ! Maybe if you tell just a few good friends... that would be alright... :-)

Loulou, well, a swim suit for every day of the week ? To go with all those shoes you were talking about over at Nathalie's place ? So hard to choose !

One and all, what a pleasure to see all these fabulous comments. I had no idea building reflections would be so popular, and again, sorry those bikinis got in the way... :D

Owen said...

Hey Jo ! You slipped that in while I was typing the answers here... now we just need to find someone with the right tan for that orange suit... how are the beaches in Vancouver ? With all the hot weather you were talking about, there must be some folks in the water now ?!?

Owen said...

Hi Desi, Would love to come to South Africa some day... with a suitcase full of bikinis from Paris if there is a shortage there. Many thanks for your comments on the back posts about roadkill, no, you are not "weird" for wanting to record and report on the carnage that goes on daily out on our roads...

Hi Michelle, thanks for stopping by, I liked your profile picture, and as I'm already following blogs run by a squirrel and a slug, as well as some water-cats, well, I thought a "Lady Bug" could be fun too... :-D
