Just in case anyone was wondering, this is one of the views from 524 Blogland Lane, on the ocean side. . . so if you wish to arrive by boat for the housewarming party, you are more than welcome to ! But however you choose to travel, by sail, by private jet, on the back of the mule, it doesn't matter to me, the important part is to get here. And don't forget to bring some artwork or photographs to hang on the walls, right now they are a little bare, after the re-construction work . . .

Hi Owen,cool shot, have a great house warming, it,s a wee bit far me to go.see ya.
Owen, I just happen to be looking at a piece of Blogland property with an ocean view up its backside as well! Perhaps we'll be neighbours...if I can come up with the cash...and if anyone can be considered a neighbour living next to the land you've laid claim to, it being the size of a small country. Am I right in concluding from this view you've provided that Blogland has its own lighthouse (is the lighthouse keeper's house occupied as yet, I wonder?) as well as its own prison, as seen on the further isle?
------------
I hope someone had the courtesy to pull down my dress when they discovered me under the table at the Sagittarian's!
Are mules good swimmers?
Bonnes vacances Owen !... Tu diras quand tu décroches !
Ciao AmigOwen !..;-)
Great view. I'd love one of those rooms with an ocean view.
As I miss swimming very much, will try to reach you through this 'mean'. Just tell me which Ocean you are in, so I can choose my route.
Hubby and I will be there in a week. Not to visit. To move in.
Yes, I see it now! Just had to back up a little to get the whole picture! The water is beautiful! You can have a brand new regimen here: swim first thing in the morning, float a bit in the evening; c'est la vie!
You have quite the view!
I'm thinking about a home on Blogland Ln - either a house boat or a treehouse. If it's the boat, I'll be sure to stop by. With rum punch. :D
I can almost smell the bracing sea air. With views like that who needs paintings on the wall - chisel out a few more windows I say!
hey Owen,
that is absolutely my dreamhome TOOO !!!
the new theme for the photoclub has been chosen!! go have a look and play!
:D
Louciao - all taken care of m'dear and I got rid of the photos as well...hic. Great views HERE tho' Owen!
Alex, you're here already ! Not far to go at all... Loved your photo of Loch Lomond !

Hi Louciao, I think the Saj took care of all clothing concerns, the men present were too shy to look under the table... There is indeed an old prison, in fact it is known as le Chateau du Taureau, and many aristocratic families in the 18th century sent their mis-behaving offspring for a visit behind those walls, where the conditions were rather spartan. The lighthouse keeper's house is available, it can be rented by the week even in the Summer. Well I sure hope you can come up with the cash, I'm sure you can, you just need to sell one of your paintings... and that should do it... prices on Blogland Lane are very reasonable... and I'd be happy to have you and Pierre for next door neighbors on the ocean-front... :-D

Bonjour Ciel ! You guessed it ! Perhaps you have bathed on "la plage de Kelenn" ? Or walked around le poin de Pen-Alon ? It's a beautiful spot... oh yes, and Callot ? Have you walked out to the end of l'ile Callot ? I think mules are excellent swimmers...

==============
Janie, your room is reserved then ! Ask and you shall receive ! Will you be coming on horseback ? I'll lay in a supply of hay if so...
==============
Hi Robert... this is the ocean of the blogosphere, all routes lead here... In the real world that we know and love, this is in fact on the north coast of Brittany, on the English Channel... if you sail out through the Straights of Gibraltar, then go north, following the coast of Spain, Portugal, and France, you'll get here...
================
TechnoB. Wow, Cool, you are welcome, the more the merrier ! Just the two of you ? If you have dogs or cats or other animals, we can give you one of the houses on the edge of the woods, so the animals can come in and out easily...
================
Margaret, oh yes indeed, a good brisk swim early in the day is wonderful for the circulation, then a kayak session in the afternoon is good for stamina and cario-pulmonary fitness, and then a soak in a shallow, sun-warmed pool late in the afternoon is perfect for Zen peacefulness ! C'est la vie indeed !
===============
Amy ! Excellent... can't wait to see you... we've got plenty of glasses...
==============
Steve, that's the spirit ! Just have to be careful we don't chisel out so many windows that the house falls down !
===============
Hey Desi, well, come on by if you like the house and the view, you can stay for a while...
Hope you got my e-mail... will stop by very shortly to see what the new theme is, that is so great of you to pick up where Rain left off for now; wonderful initiative ! I'll be over soon...
=============
Dear Sagittarian, You got rid of almost all the photos... oh dear, all those salty dogs, I could hear them howling at the full moon after a while... :-D
That's quite a view. So you're just a short distance from where you can catch your own seafood.
Oh Yes, LGS, plenty of seafood to be found in these parts... oysters, lobster, langoustines, araignées de mer, grey shrimp, mussels, scallops, bigorneaux, not to mention the fish... and plentiful sources of dry but fruity white wine to wash them down with... indeed, in reality, this view is near Morlaix, France, a small town named Carentec, we are heading there this weekend, for the rest of August... seafood dinners coming up shortly ! Do squirrels like seafood ??? If there were no nuts to be found, could you be tempted ???
Your photography is awesome, Owen. I scrolled back and those vibrant school pictures are pure genius.
Ciao,
Lola
...8:)
Lola, thank you ever so much... we should sit down with a plate of tomato sauced pasta, a bottle of wine, and talk photography, with peaches for dessert ! :-D Funny, la grenouille and I were out shopping this afternoon in a little local market, and they had the loveliest beefsteak tomatoes I've ever seen, just two of them weighed almost a kilo... delicious too... anyway, really, thanks so much !

*exhales and wills lottery numbers to come right.................
Well, as you know, squirrels eats nuts and most nuts have shells. so it isn't much of a stretch to say that squirrels would love "shell"fish too. :)

Fabulous! I want one.
Have it wrapped and sent to my trailer home please.
; -)
And what a view! Great shot!
