Nothing to do With Anything . . .

.

.

Both of these scenes were seen on the same day not long ago, going in to Paris to catch up with Peter, of Peter's Paris. One never knows what one is going to encounter in life on any given day. But one should never be surprised at surprises.

One should never be surprised at surprises... so well, put!
I love the pink hair!! (Not a colour I would try no, but it looks very cool!)
I love street art... No culture... hum... I'm not sure I would agree :)

Really interesting shots. In the first, fashion taken to the level of faux-shamanism. And the second? I don't know, is the warring, or depiction of such, a 'no culture' situation, or is it perhaps, anti-culture? Or annihilation, or usurpting of culture? I only know I don't like war. (I'll get off my soapbox now...)

Everything is culture. All human (mis)behaviour. Long may it continue!

Oups ! Joli spécimen rose ! Tu ne l'as pas photographiée de face ? Moi je n'aurais pas résisté, quitte à lui demander l'autorisation. :)

Was it a he or she? Did you see its face?
If I had a euro for every time I saw something funny but didn't have my camera....

Hey Myth, didn't John Prine also sing, "Praise the lord and pass the ammo" ?
:-)

What a great man he is... saw him years ago on stage with Steve Goodman, not long before Steve sadly left us way too early... John was so drunk he could hardly stay upright on his stool on stage... but he did a great job nevertheless...

Hi Therese, welcome... weird & wonderful ? I like that...

haha, mythopolis made me so laugh, "fashion taken to the level of faux-shamanism" :-)
it's quite common to see this in Japan, are you sure she was not japanese?
(if funny topics about Japan are not out of place now :-(

or perhaps this mania finally reached Paris as well!

Made me think, how it would be, if sights alike would become 'normal'.

Maybe there's a time when we should start to 'count' all anew.

Please have you all a good Thursday.

1) That outfit is too chic! You should have gotten a photo from the front as well! (Lately the press here has been calling Gaddafi a transvestite.)

2) How could you deface the best scene from Les Miz?

That first picture left me wondering if I was once again ignorant of a major fashion trend. Then I realized that, even I, would probably of noticed that if it were widespread.

Or maybe something to do with everything! On a good day the world is a parade. Sometimes we are in the parade and sometimes on the sidelines, watching and smiling...

Yee-ha, you're taking us for a mighty ride. What a knock-out. I agree with stickup artist :

Great to have your camera when you find stuff like this eh? My niece has just dyed her hair pink too but I don't think that is her....

Oooh, pink hair. My kids would love it.

I finally posted the "dream car" that I happened to find quite a while ago. It took a long time, didn't it?

I used to hang out at all of the punk rock clubs in Hollywood in the early 1980's so except for all of the pink this really brings me back. :)

I had dreads and a mohawk during my teen years.

When I was young I had no dress sense, but it didn't matter - we were all doing our own thing. Now I'm old still with no dress sense, and people say it's because I don't care or can't be bothered.

The burdens of age hang heavy, when in youth a shrug of the shoulders would throw them off.
