It Must Be the Pollen Again . . .

.
.
While out on a little bit of a ramble this afternoon along Brittany's northwestern coast, I stumbled on this window in a churchyard which I couldn't resist a quick shot of for Reflections Weekend. Hope you enjoy, and have a wonderful weekend yourself full of fine reflections !

And here's the whole window . . .

Amazing color assortment! And the reflection on the other hand looks like a monochrome...

I love the combination of colors in your first photo as concerns the flowers-on-frame juxtaposition!

As always, your reflections are beautiful.

Superbes clichés ; je suis juste un peu surprise de voir la fenêtre d'une maisonnette donner aussi directement sur un cimetière...

Is that a huge crucifx reflected on the right side of the window?

The reflections are interesting, but it's the wonderful texture of the stone and the gorgeous colors of the window and flowers that got me!

I want that window at our little hippie house. I like the whole thing including the flowers.

On the first one - There is the orange cross with the those amazingly perfect flowers and leaves, and in the upper right window pane there is a reflection of what looks like a crucifix atop of what must be a church. Or is it my imagination working overtime? I see Steve up there sees it too.

That just floored me!

What an inpsired colour combination! I wonder if it was intentional.

Yup. The cruciform shape of the window frame, the reflection of the crucifix in the upper right hand corner, the brilliant colours, the shadow and light, the crispness of focus. You captured it all artfully.

Les fenêtres offrent parfois des reflets surprenants (vue sur le cimetière et petit bout du photographe pour la 1ère photo)

Superbes photos.

I like the layers. The second image adds much with the texture of the wall. Nice work.

To one and all, I can only thank you profusely for the above flood of kind words which light up my heart here...

After spending all day yesterday on the island of Ouessant, and today at the third annual world championship of artichoke throwing, this evening at a creperie, tomorrow it is back on the road home from Brittany, and back to work on Tuesday. Have a ton of things to blog about just from this past week alone... slowly, but surely, will get there... In the meanwhile, I thank you for your good company here along the blog highway...

Merci profondement à toutes et a tous, votre gentilesse me touche en plein coeur... à bientôt...

I love both shots, but the top one more. Looking at the reflection is like looking through the window... into a whole other world... where we plunge... and fall into lovely images... and stay. The colors on both shots are amazing... and brilliant... and summer-fine!

Hope you are enjoying your traveling and shooting, Owen. Actually, I know you are! :-)

the first one is really amazing, one seems to be caught in an endless reflection chain, the reflection of the cross of the cross of the cross, a borgesian labyrinthine world...

a rich opening for reflection(s), if i may re-use your pun :-)

Un cimetière,
Des fleurs,
De la couleur,
j'aime bien.

Comment ça déjà reparti ? Mais je ne vous ai point vu !
Dois-je avouer que j'ai été très occupée.
Je vous espère ressourcé !

I like the contrast of the red window pane and the light blue sky... this is a good windo.

This window looks like it hasn't been opened too often in the recent times but that's a good thing. The shot is wonderful. Congratulations for spotting the reflection. Your shot is quite unique !
