Just For Info . . . Out of the Office . . .

I'm going to be away for a few days, out tramping around the countryside a bit to clear out the cobwebs and get some fresh air. Don't know if I'll have any internet access where I'm heading, so if you don't see any lights in the window here or smoke from the chimney, you'll know why . . .
.
So, please behave yourselves in my absence (that means you Saj and Lynne !) and I'll be back just as fast as I can hop . . .
.
PS . . Thanks a million for all your marvellous musings in the comment box these past several posts, can't get over what a sharp lot you all are, you really know how to keep a guy on his mental toes... if that makes sense. Well if it doesn't, just remember that one of my favorite films was called "Stop Making Sense" . . . See you soon . . .

Clearing out the cobwebs from Halloween? Heh heh. I keep hearing how much time off the employees in France receive as opposed to US. Sheesh. Enjoy your time away.

Thanks everyone ! Am out in the far eastern steppes of France where the wolves and wild pigs roam... wanted to take a closer look at a little backwater town called Verdun, and the countryside around it, which figures prominently in certain chapters of some history books ...

Hi Owen! Enjoy tramping out in the woods, and of course look at the massive cemetery in Verdun...
Thanks for letting us know you'll be gone for a bit.
See you soon!

I'll have you know that the local Police tell me I am the most behaved drunk they ever have!
Happy 'tramping'...is that the polite version of gallumphing?

Oh hi, Saj! Yes, I don't believe tramping was the best choice of words, but oh well, we know Owen!! ;) (kidding!)
