Celestial Light . . .

For the third consecutive Friday evening in a row, the sunset as seen from my office window was rather splendid. Hope you are getting good lightshows in the skies wherever you may be these days . . . Guess these two would have been good material for the June "Air" theme over at Rain's place recently . . . will have to come up with something for the July "Hands" theme.

Colin Wilson once wrote: Summer and winter are easily seperated here in England, during summer the rain is slightly warmer.
Seems as if your skies painted an invitation to 'get drunk of colours' - very impressive photography. Nice evening to you, rater rest of the night.

A lovely reward for your late hours of labour. Especially that sky with the plane in it--WOW! Beautifully captured moment in time. How amazing is it that we are all able to share it with you here? Merci!

Tag Robert, or should I say guten nacht ? Funny quote there from Colin Wilson, and funny you should mention him, I have a book by him right in front of me here as I type, that is on the top of my pile of things to read... "The Outsider"... are you familiar with that ??? Yes indeed, colors do get me drunk... like Baudelaire... a good week to you...

PS Finally added you to my list of fascinating blogs, had been meaning to for some time... sometimes it takes me a while to get around to doing things, as I'm easily distracted to go off on tangents...

Hey there Lynne, ahh, I hope your visit means you've pardoned me for my impudent outburst there earlier... :-D :-D :-D (that's me laughing ha ha ha!)

Yes, indeed, it is amazing these meetings of minds in these various pages, and sharing of moments of memories of laughter. I think it is a good thing. A very good thing. I mean, how else would people around the world have ever had the chance to picture you running squealing about the house with your shirt over your head, chased by a literal swarm of big hungry vampire bats ??!!??

So, would it be safe to guess that you might have finished Daniel Martin by now, sounded like you were moving along at a good clip ? I need to do more reading... (sigh)

Wonderful shots.

Just closed up Daniel Martin this weekend. I did come to like the character by the end. Brilliant writer. A lesser writer could have written the story in half the pages. (ponder that). BTW- I read The Outsider years ago; went through a Colin Wilson phase. Probably didn't have a clue what I was reading!

I love it when you laugh like that!

These photos are so achingly beautiful, Owen. Especially the one with the lights of the city below. Makes you feel so soaringly high. and then there's a plane as large as life! The colors are just unbelievable.

Sky is faboulous, like great fire! Here are also great performances on the sky - maybe it's a kind of compensation for weather:)
Have a good week!

Almost forgot how much our sky can be beautiful before night is falling... Hey Owen good to come back to the magic lantern show and your poetry of life!
Heard the past week was more than hectic...hope the sky is clearer now... ;-)

On my side, almost two weeks in France, had Flu last week (not THE flu don't worry) because it was so cold compared to my beautiful India.... well now it is behind, will enjoy the "douce France" we miss so much when we are far!!!!

Always happy to see your trace on Indiaphragme, even if busy.
Can't wait to frame your beautiful B&N shots while back in India ;-)

Take care
Loulou

Beautiful shots, isn't nature amazing? I could stare at a sky like that until it went black (or I got cold, or the wine ran out...)

Tout s'explique !
J'ai entendu hier à la radio que les magnifiques couchers de soleil auxquels nous assistons provenaient d'une éruption volcanique explosive qui s'est produite fin juin.
