ReplyDeleteOn the first one - There is the orange cross with the those amazingly perfect flowers and leaves, and in the upper right window pane there is a reflection of what looks like a crucifix atop of what must be a church. Or is it my imagination working overtime? I see Steve up there sees it too.

Yup. The cruciform shape of the window frame, the reflection of the crucifix in the upper right hand corner, the brilliant colours, the shadow and light, the crispness of focus. You captured it all artfully.

Whoa, that bar keeps getting higher (the photography one I mean...altho' I guess if one imbibes enough the other bar gets higher too....)
ReplyDeleteI love both shots, but the top one more. Looking at the reflection is like looking through the window... into a whole other world... where we plunge... and fall into lovely images... and stay. The colors on both shots are amazing... and brilliant... and summer-fine!

This window looks like it hasn't been opened too often in the recent times but that's a good thing. The shot is wonderful. Congratulations for spotting the reflection. Your shot is quite unique !
