I don't know if Suzanne Dion is any relation to Celine Dion, the singer, but her memorial stone has turned into a beautiful work of art over the years. I love the subtle colors here and especially the way water running down around the letters of her name has stained the stone with wavering stripes . . . I've often marvelled at stained glass ; but rarely at stained stone. Suzanne only lived to be 32, from 1890 to 1922, living through the First World War in her twenties.
