If you peruse some of the earlier posts below you will eventually, after years of wandering in the wilderness, come across a few that mention a certain R.E.K. aka Wreck, a Pennsylvania painter who I hold in the highest esteem and reverence for his work and other signs of endearing insanity... and this piece, in a private collection somewhere in France, may be one of his finest. View is in Philadelphia, near the Chestnut St and Market St bridges across the Surekill River, I guess that's 30th Street station at upper left... it's a beauty Mr Wreck... the question here is : Is this a rectangular picture frame seen through a trapezoidal lens, or a trapezoidal frame seen through a rectangular brain?
