(But, those candied fruits)! That last reflection reminds me of photos taken with the old Polaroids. I try to get that effect from time to time, but so far, no luck. Guess I need to carry around a green backlit piece of glass. But then, ...Certainly not the usual tourist shots. But then, we are dealing here with not the usual tourist. How exciting it must be to find unusual views and images existing *just like that* out in the world, creating illusions and delusions without any need of further aid from chrome-topped editing programs. I sense a link from subject to subject here: from the roundness of the garbage bin images to the round-shaped sweets with their tinges and tones of greens and reds that segue nicely into those other-wordly tints in the glass door reflection. The subconscious mind materializes as choices unfold, creating unexpected connections of what at first appeared random selection. Perhaps. The bottom ones look like they could be a portal to another dimension or maybe just another time. The top ones are awesome. I took a few shots of that same trash can but it was inside of the cafe on a cloudy day. So your photos are way better.

Florence, Siena and Venice were the only parts of Italy that we saw. We loved Italy and we're in the early stages of planing our vacation for next year. I think we'll probably go back to Venice and maybe a couple of days in or around Bologna.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13938841714182436845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8855510751016957422.post-55564656904419194432012-07-23T04:35:48.490+02:002012-07-23T04:35:48.490+02:00Oh you found some very fine reflections and I so e...Oh you found some very fine reflections and I so enjoyed spying you both!! I have been doing a bit of the same in my little corner of the world today: We are docked in a small port near the Pacific Ocean, Port Townsend, WA, due to inclement weather. I have been walking around taking pics of boat reflections in the water... and seagulls... lots of seagulls They look great against the dark, ominous grey skies-- (Summer in the Pacific Northwest! Lots of old, run down buildings, and rusty anchors. You would love it, Mr Toad :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)French Girl in Seattlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14347995356689205203noreply@blogger.com
